@TheGOATFollower Agree 100%! He is one of our best hopes at 65kgs on Senior teams. There will be some amazing battles between Mendez, Woods, McKenna, Blaze, Bassett, and Valencia. And eventually Jax. Hopefully, we bury the 65kg curse forever!

One person's dream crushes another in wrestling always. I think Mendez is truly one of the rare universally liked wrestlers that goes beyond school and his reaction was heartbreaking. His story is just beginning and I think everyone is rooting for him as he reps USA

@NoBickal I don’t fault Caliendo. It’s minutes after missing out on everything he worked for this year. 4 years really. Now he has to deal with Mitchell for his senior career. He’s unlikely to ever get out of MM’s shadow for World & Olympic teams. That has to be a rough place mentally.

A shocking result from Day 1 of the conference championships weekend as #1 Penn State fails to qualify ANY of their wrestlers for the NCAA championships. Meanwhile, #3 Oklahoma State has put all 10 starters through to the National Tournament. 🤯🤯🤯

@patomfan @JustinJBasch I’d love to get inside info from former PSU wrestlers: I feel like Cael & Co. put very little emphasis on the B1G tourney. They are ALL about peaking for NCAAs. I even wondered if they held back at the B1G tourney, especially if a main competitor was in the conf. @CenzoJoseph ?
