@chrisjb2185 It was bizarre here because changeover from rain to sleet to wintry mix felt rapid, but then we hung in the wintry mix/unproductive light snow phase for like 2 hours. It was ludicrous.

@TrackerSacker The changeover was delayed here also and we wasted a bunch of qpf. We were still 50 degrees mid afternoon which I didn’t anticipate.

Monday-Tuesday Snowfall Outlook Vs Reports Overall I have to say I’m pretty happy with the way my forecast turned out in the lower elevations of north and central East Tennessee, including the Tri-Cities and Knoxville, and Southwest Virginia also seems to have met in the mark in most cases, but I was overzealous in some higher elevations across the board.

@chrisjb2185 Here in Johnson City we played with wintry mix for an extremely long time before we really got serious about it. I feel like we could have hit the high end of my forecast or even better, but the hustle to an inch and a half at the end was still appreciable.

@TrackerSacker We had just over three inches. We had almost an inch and a half of rain prior to the snow beginning which hurt accumulation.
