A brilliant interview. @tompalmerauthor got so many important points across in a short time; value of picture books, importance of sharing stories with an adult be that parent, teacher or librarian & made sure the illustrator was credited too. We need more of this on TV!

We loved hearing author @tompalmerauthor speak on BBC Breakfast this morning! An inspiring interview about the role of children’s books in communicating difficult topics such as war and conflict. Gorgeous spread of WAR DOG illustrations from @CarolinaRabei too 😍

Our friends @hull_libraries give us an opportunity to highlight Lewis Carroll's #Hull connection. His mother grew up here, his grandfather was Collector of Customs and his parents married here. @Hull_Museums
