@NinerNick_22 @CoachBroker He had clearly just sharted when the camera was on him. A normal reaction that we have all had before. It just so happens a camera caught it. 🤷‍♂️

@CoachBroker I agree. But why wasn't he thrilled when they made the selection? Compare it to his reaction to BA and Ricky

Did the #49ers ever release Stribling's draft call? If so, I haven't seen it. Considering Shanahan looked displeased with the pick in real time... I'm curious to see it.

@JamesSurowiecki @SulligentHUB Does a GM get credit for taking players as low as possible? Everyone seems to get upset if they believe they could have drafted players lower, or "they reached?"

@SulligentHUB A GM gets no credit for lucking into a great QB with the last pick of the draft.

The 2021 class was a mixed bag - they got Aaron Banks, Talanoa Hufanga, and Deommodore Lenoire - all guys who got pretty hefty 2nd contracts. 2022 netted no real difference makers - oh except for that Brock Purdy guy - grabbing your franchise QB should always at least make a draft class not a fail. 2023 - Wasn't good. No way around it. 2024 - Jury is still out on a number of these guys for various reasons. 2025 - See 2024.

𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐄 𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐀𝐋𝐒𝐄: John Lynch, Kyle Shanahan, and the #49ers organization are bad at drafting players?

@JamesSurowiecki @SulligentHUB Where is that threshold then? What if someone is picked in the 3rd round, and ends up in the HOF, and that GM passed on them for 2+ rounds? What criteria do you have for how a GM gets credit? (Asking in the most intrigued/polite tone as possible.)

I evaluated the last 4 years of John Lynch drafts his performance: 2023: #31 2024: #28 2025: #31 2026: #32 after the draft, Lynch claimed he knows better than everyone else the data shows he doesn’t I went thru every single "reach" he made it's gross sharpfootballanalysis.com/analysis/john-…

Ohh you mean the team that is also one of the worst VS the "consensus" in the league? I agree, the Hawks are stacked. Any rational Niners fan knew it was an extremely long shot to do much last year with the injuries. Plus the Hawks got hot and hit their stride at the perfect time.

@RaiderFanSteve1 @SharpFootball I disagree. You can't say Lynch is a moron, then list several incredible teams that have done the same thing and claim that doesn't apply to them. The GMs of those other teams have a great track record as well. We won't know how great the "census" was for a few years.

@TruthNotTears @SharpFootball Why do people keep saying this? Last years results have literally nothing to do with this years draft. This is genuinely a retarded af take.

@fpldias @SharpFootball Only 1 team can win the big one. Only 6 teams have won the superbowl in the last 10 years. Obviously the goal is the superbowl... I guess the 49ers should just fire everyone and get Tomsula back in the helm... or maybe bring Jimmy Raye back to be the Offensive Coordinator.

@MrTyler_Durden_ @SharpFootball Only time will tell. Peters has only been gone for 2 years. It's a bit tough to make the connection Peters was the know all be all. Not saying Peters isn't skilled at his job, he is. It's just a stretch to say he is the reason for anything good that happened in the draft.

@ChavezRavine7 @swanson_ro52453 @SharpFootball According to the Article/Census, the Colts, Jets, and Raiders are among the elite in the NFL. And the 49ers, Rams, and Seahawks are morons that can't run a franchise. 😐

@swanson_ro52453 @TruthNotTears @SharpFootball The article is specifically about: the players they REACHED on How THOSE players fared How many of those players were cut or haven't contributed much compared to expected value Article goes down the list one by one. You can definitely comment on those guys

@ravcchaudhary @SharpFootball Trey Lance decision proved to be terrible. They took a shot and missed... bad. Javon Hargrave proved to be a after he tore his Tricep. Solomon Thomas - Huge miss. Reuban Foster - Huge miss. There have been plenty of Huge Hits as well though. Never said he was perfect.

@PrinceofBrizzy @SharpFootball True. Still in pursuit. I do believe we have had the roster to compete and win a Superbowl multiple years. I also believe Shanahan is one of the best coaches in the league. The reality is: a lot has to go right to win the entire thing. There are a lot of variables.

@GVO1215 @SharpFootball Lol! Once your lip stops quivering from getting so emtotional, try using logic. I guess the GM shouldn't get credit for the roster or any wins. Those are still players Lynch put on the team.

@TruthNotTears @SharpFootball And you relied on a Patriots 1st round draft pick to pick up for your injured QB, not one of Lynch's draft choices.

@MrTyler_Durden_ @SharpFootball I do agree losing Adam Peters was a loss. But why hasn't Adam Peters won anything in Washington, if he is that elite? How many proven studs has Peters drafted with Washington?
