@irissocewl Another thing to add to the list of change on the US versions. Another thing, for some reason, X7 US is harder. Enemies tanks more damages. If you play the UK or JPN version, bosses are less tanky making the game easier.

@SynthPotato Something did happen. We went from using CRT televisions that blended pixels and frames together in a way that the morphed result was fine with low quality pictures to super precise high definition with high refresh rate screens where issues are more noticable.

Seriously though why does this happen? Did something in screens change or did we just get too used to 60FPS+ that 30fps looks so laggy now?

@yumi8228 @SneedChuck01 Physical copies work. When loaded in the console, it starts the download of the working version for the console and allow you to play the game without any extra cost.

@LarryBundyJr Its hard to say. What are the aspects that you need for a game to be a metroidvania? Then, does any 3d games fit those aspects?

Have there ever been any true 3D MetroidVania's ever made? They nearly all seem to be 2D focused. Closest I can think of are Batman: Arkham Asylum, and the 2013 Tomb Raider, Maybe Jedi: Fallen Order, and even then they're very light/hand holdey on the "Metroiding" aspect.

@Shinken_Oh That and the fact that you need to go wave mode, interact with the NPC bio, then go see the NPC in human form to then talk the side quest. Cut the middle man and go see the NPC directly

The biggest flaw in these star force games is still the side quest system like wdym only one at a time

@RyuZxA_ They could also go 3D. Something close to Xdive's looks. Kepp the world structure and use 3D instead for combat and overworld

@RyuZxA_ I saw your comment on the HD2D, but it is a direction they can go because it is appealing a lot right now. Not saying its good or bad. They could stay pure 2D and evolve what they have right now with the collection. Going above and beyond what they have for the look.

I'm 100% certain that IF MegaMan Star Force 4 got announced, they're gonna drop the pixel art overworld in favor of full 3D overworld. Because I doubt Capcom gonna do pixel art stuff nowadays.
