@chutneylife I traveled to Costa Rica for a bone graft, implant, and crown for a maxillary lateral incisor from a world class UCLA dentist. Including air fare and accommodations, I paid less than one third what I would have paid in America, and the work came with a lifetime guarantee.

A patient lost her crown that was done by me 5 years ago. She said it came off and she had it in a ziplock bag to get it recemented. Then she lost it somehow. In my head, I was going to give her 20% off on a new one as a goodwill until she demanded that her new crown should be free. Gave her a treatment plan for full cost. Often times, it doesn’t pay to be aggressive and an asshole.

Try raising three and a granddaughter in said world… Sigh.
