You'll never understand just how great 2019-2021 twitter was. It might seem like I'm exaggerating but it truly felt like a digital town square where we all had shared consciousness. There was nothing on my feed but banger after banger. Zero fight videos. You didn't need to relentlessly curate your algorithm. It was all just... there. You had Lobo posting about becoming one with your body and mind. You had Lawrence bashing the UK (before it was cool). LogFitz posting three drinks. Sol leading the charge. Shaw cooking up literal bangers. Pre-fame Tate. Du dropping 180 character gems that would occasionally break normisphere. Tiger documenting it all. Built Different. The timeline was just out of this word. I learned so much. You could spend hours on twitter search (that's now broken). Grimhood. CK Eternity. They ran health twitter before health twitter existed. Every little thing that's popular now was discussed. We called seed oils vegetable oil and nobody talked about it. Deep Nutrition was the only mainstream book (if you could call it mainstream) that openly called it out. A text based platform like twitter should never have been monetized. The natural consequence is that ideas are no longer prioritized. Communities get broken down... it must be impossible to grow an account from scratch now without resorting to posting slop, doing attention grabbing antics or producing cinematic grade advertorials. It's sad to see. You just had to be there. Twitter changed my life.

Private Eye Russ here! “Trophy wife glitches out”. A good friend of mine asked me if I would speak to one of his neighbors. Apparently his wife had been behaving strangely and he wanted to get to the bottom of it. He did try to question her but she denied any wrongdoing.  The strange behavior was first identified one night when he woke up in the middle of the night and his wife was gone. Initially he didn't think anything of it and went back to sleep but when he woke up the next morning he found her sleeping on the couch and her usual nightwear but her feet were filthy as though she's been gardening in her bare feet.  When questioned she said she couldn't sleep so she walked around in the yard for a while.  The next occurrence was noticed by his son. His son was up playing video games one night and noticed Mommy creeping out the sliding glass door and walking out into the backyard disappearing into the night. He didn't say anything about it initially because he was supposed to be sleeping and was forbidden to play online video games during the school week. This occurred more than one time so the Sun mentioned it to the dad when they were driving to school one day. This is where I come in.  He knew something was very wrong and suspected cheating but he wasn't sure how to get the answers he needed.  After studying his problem and consulting with him we came up with a plan of action. I won't go into too much detail about our operational procedures but it took us more than one try to figure out what she was doing and how she was doing it. The only reason it was so challenging was because we did not want to tip our hand and the way she was traveling would have made it very easy for us to be spotted.  When we were finally able to witness her and fidelity we were actually stunned. The man she was messing with could only be described as hairy, approximately 300 LB balding, thick glasses wearing dad bod. I know what you're asking. How did she get here? Once we were able to reverse engineer everything we figured out that she first hooked up with this individual during a school trip out of state. One of her children was involved in an activity that required them to travel out of state on a special trip. Mom went on this trip and apparently the man she was cheating with was traveling with his child on the same trip. To go even further some of the other school moms were aware of their initial hookup but didn't tell anyone (I wonder why?).   They would initially hook up during the daytime when her husband was at work but when he began working from home(beer flu) she began her nocturnal activities.   The man she was cheating with was also married. They would sneak out of their respective homes and meet in various places to do the backseat car hook up (full size luxury vehicles FTW). She would travel on foot and he would pick her up and they would travel to a secondary location to do the deed and then she would travel back to her home on foot (barefoot on more than one occasion).  If I didn't know any better I would speculate that she was a gymnast in her youth considering the obstacle course she had to traverse to get to the rendezvous point.   Takeaways below

I really struggle with balance man. I think most of us do. Wake up, slow morning, feel guilty for not being productive and throwing away my 20s and not taking advantage of the opportunity in front me me. Lock in Work, feel guilty for being a hermit, for isolating myself, for spending my life in front of a computer trying to make things work. Throw on a jacket and head to a cafe Hangout, feel guilty for not working. I should be using all my youthful energy to build something! I’m not here to just chill, I’m here to create, to expand, to build something incredible. Work more Work, feel guilty for not seeing my family. On my death bed, it’ll be my biggest regret. I’ve got 2 younger brothers I should be leading, parents to learn and share stories with. What’s the point of working anyways if I can’t spend time with people I love? Shut the laptop, drive to parents house Chat with parents, feel guilty. Yes, the answer is obvious. But it doesn’t make it easier A necessary part, I believe, of blazing your own path when you’re young, entering a world that’s completely pitch black using only mentors as guides and your intuition, is constantly feeling you should be somewhere else than where your feet stand I do not wish for this feeling to go away, truthfully. It means I’m always on the edge of something, always pushing. But I cannot stand when people tell me to “just find balance,” as if that ever did any good for anyone
