@Sanatan_dive Maybe you have a ram hungry server like SQL so you can allocate a lot of ram that virtual server. Maybe you want to host multiple different game servers from one machine, including a web server for your admin panel. It’s also best practice to seperate your servers by application.

@Sanatan_dive It’s very cost efficient and scalable, you can add another bare metal server to your hypervisor ‘cluster’ to increase capacity. Maybe you want to make a second server for every server you have in case one of them fails, we call this high-availability.
