🇫🇷🇺🇸🇮🇷 Macron said trying to open the Strait of Hormuz by force is totally unrealistic and that it would take forever and put everyone at serious risk from Iranian missiles and guards. France wants it reopened through talks with Iran, not guns blazing, and made it clear this isn’t their war. It’s not their war, but didn’t they receive an attack on Paris banks? 🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump is escalating pressure on Iran and using oil prices as leverage If no ceasefire happens, the U.S. and Israel could target Iran’s energy infrastructure, including oil wells, power plants, and Kharg Island. That’s the core of Iran’s economy. At the same time, Trump is setting a deadline linked to the Strait of Hormuz. Oil is already around $115. Higher oil prices put pressure on countries that depend on Gulf energy, not just Iran. This is being framed as a maximum-pressure move designed to force a response.
