@_Habunake_ @thedimitri Hello, Habunake-san,
From my recollection, it was the tortoise. There's a saying on it "Slow and steady wins the race" 🐢
What does Habunake mean anyway?
English

@_wallwalker @thedimitri Did you forget who won the race u dumb bitch

Good rule to live by: For a particular aspect of life, choose your role models knowing how they are in that aspect of life.
Some people ace many aspects... everything, everywhere, all at once. Makes my life easier.

It's also clear to me. If I was told to make a person CEO of my startup or advice me in life, it'd be Obama, not Trump. He has a wonderful wife, 2 kids, had Bo the dog. Personally, great taste in books, music, standup comedians, great education. Phenomenal lawyer. For me, evidence of his own life is enough to decide who I'd trust. People just expect absolute perfection from people who have high standards ime. That's the crushing reality.

Eh a lot of it was me telling people no, he is not our Lord and Savior and in 2008 telling a bunch of people “no, he isn’t going to legalize weed”.
It sounds a bit silly to say but I’m serious in that I closely started following politics in 2000, when I was 8. I was more of a conservative back then (became a libertarian later) but amusingly before the 2004 election my friend, who was on the left, said he wanted Bush to win so Obama could run and win in 2008.
I laughed, because although it was obvious Obama would win the senate seat, I was like you think our junior senator is going to be president in 4 years?
Still kind of annoys me

@thejesterhead9 Lucky guy. I only lived it all vicariously online.

@_wallwalker See my other comment, I followed the man since before 2004. I’m from Illinois.

I hear you but I strongly believe you've got the cause and effect the other way around about the country tearing, social cohesion wrecking.
I won't comment on who the intelligence agencies trusted and why, I could write an essay on it.
I'll also not comment on the rest because my information and evidence on them isn't foolproof yet.
Yet, I'll personally never understand the rage people have towards him as compared the rage I'd expect them to have towards Trump for pretty much meeting all of the above circumstances while golfing as well.
English

He let his CIA Director lie to Congress with a cooked up intelligence community assessment to help accuse his successor of treason, which tore the country in half while he went golfing.
Among other things. The 3 letter agencies were still loyal to him during Trump’s first term and actively undermined him.
I don’t like Trump, but what Obama let Brennan, Clapper, Comey and friends do absolutely wrecked social cohesion in this country.
I’m not as seething in rage as I was when the information really came together for me from around 2022 onward, but I am still royally pissed off at the man. I thought he was a pretty standard president. As a libertarian of course, I didn’t like any president, but damn do I not like Obama now.

@thejesterhead9 I say this having read his and Michelle's autobiographies, watched all his SOTU addresses countless times, amongst many other speeches, talks. Having followed US politics obsessively for decades, including him coming to power and his two terms.

I run a bootstrapped B2C startup, from India and have drawn zero salary for myself for more than 2 years. Considering our PPP and budget allocation, have some mercy.
My Claude Pro and Gemini Plus are being used for my own product design work. One Claude Max plan for a colleague's product design work. GPT Plus reserved for my computer use for the most part.
One cofounder suggested I use Antigravity for the same usecase. I'll be testing it out today. Good for Google. I'd not tried their AntiG yet.
I try but such things make me cry :p
English

@tszzl you dream big dreams while irl my codex (under gpt plus subscription) limits get hit within an hour of finding a truly helpful, useful use case, much to my chagrin

I saw a guy with a Pepe the 🐸 pfp saying "The only reason women may have ever had the upper hand in the gender war is because most men haven’t even been fighting it"
I prayed yet again for the grace, patience, wisdom of all the women, past, present and future, who have to bear men like these. Literally and figuratively. Some people really walk the world with their blinders on 😭
*Deep breaths*
Alright good sir, it's a good pfp choice (grace), you're so right in certain Twitter circles (patience), I wish you fresh stables wherever you go (wisdom)
English

@summanager I'm fine with that, to some extent. I'll continue subjectifying them then.
English

@_wallwalker We can be contradictory and frustrating too. It’s the 21st century
