Normally, this should attract private care home owners to invest in bringing the older ones, that are helpless for proper documentations and accommodation with direct supervision from the government.

@callipopo @NigeriaStories This man can never do wrong in my eyes. I love him so much.

@NigeriaStories Now, compare this to building flyovers and airports that would hardly be put to use. Have you seen that any opposition who tries to deny Gov Otti of a second term is looking for the trouble of Abia people?

@PastorMarvy I agree with you. I am from Alimosho and I can say that Area is just a large area with no proper sensible govt. The LGs should hand many things SG is handling, they can even generate millions from doing the right thing for the LG with the largest population in lagos.
English

No Local Government Area in Lagos gets nothing less than ₦600 million as monthly allocation from SG. In fact, some LCDAs like Alimosho gets nothing less than ₦2.5 billion per month.
This waste compactor costs only ₦60-80 million each. Nothing stops each LCDA from getting 2-3 units of this compactor LCDA and collect waste from individual houses every start of the week within the Local Area and for onward retrieval by LAWMA.
Local Government Areas should set up Task Force and Data systems that electronically collects waste payments from these houses. Defaulting houses are locked up and charged to court.
LAWMA can’t do this waste collection alone. It is overwhelming and we need to stop people from dumping waste on the road.
Is it so hard?????

“No Scripture Forbids Tattoos” — Kingsley Okonkwo Responds to Critics of His John 3:16 Tattoo
Popular relationship coach and pastor, Kingsley Okonkwo, has challenged long-held religious beliefs that condemn tattoos, describing them as baseless and h@rmful to societal growth.
Speaking during an interview on News Central, Okonkwo said there is no biblical or scientific evidence that makes tattoos sinful or a sign of bad character. He argued that many religious leaders and worshippers impose personal opinions, church policies, or individual convictions on others without solid justification.
“There is no scripture that says a child of God cannot have a tattoo,” he said. “People keep shouting that tattoos are bad, yet nobody can explain why. There is no scriptural proof, no scientific proof, just assumptions.”
He criticized the tendency to link outward appearance to moral failure, noting that such thinking limits progress. According to him, blaming tattoos, clothing, or lifestyle choices for criminal behaviour is illogical and outdated.
Okonkwo illustrated his point by comparing the stigma against tattoos to condemning jeans simply because a criminal once wore them. “If someone wore jeans and robbed a bank, does that mean jeans are now bad?” he asked.
The pastor added that both good and bad people can have tattoos, insisting that character is shaped by values, not appearance. “I can give you ten good people with tattoos, and you can give me ten bad ones. So what does that prove?” he queried.
He also linked the mindset to the church’s reluctance to engage in politics, saying many believers avoid certain spaces because they are seen as “dirty,” only to later complain about bad leadership.
According to Okonkwo, this attitude leaves important areas of society in the hands of those perceived as unfit. “We avoid everything that looks bad, and then we complain,” he said. He urged Christians to focus more on personal faith, character, and impact, rather than judging people based on appearance or cultural stereotypes.

Untold story of what happened in the Villa during Governor Makinde's Visit to the President today
Here is the true story of what happened in the Villa when Governor Seyi Makinde visited the President today.
First, Governor Seyi Makinde demonstrated that he now lacked enough courage to face the President alone, he had to enlist the support of the Plateau State Governor.
The President told him that if it was about official matters regarding Oyo State, he will listen to him.
But if it had to with politics and any claim that it was Wike that angered him to go on TV to accuse him (President) of plotting to turn the country to a one party state, it is better to as usual, go on TV to say all he (Makinde) had to say.
He was told pointedly that he can't come to the closet on political matters to eat his words, while saying another thing to the public.
Furthermore, the President told Governor Makinde that he was not expecting any support from him regarding 2027, and that he should also expect that he (President) will support his party.
Lastly, the President made it clear to Makinde that Wike is someone whose support and consistency he (President) can't deny or wished away. Therefore, if Makinde has issues with Wike, that is between the two of them, I should be left out of it.
That's why Makinde told the press that he's comfortable in PDP. It's because of the reality that there's nothing for him in APC.
And after this meeting, shouldn't Makinde tell the people of Oyo State if he has returned the N30bn he admitted to have received from the Federal Government as intervention fund for the January 2023 Ibadan explosion?
