@333peterobinson @theladyfarmer You got it. You can have wider fittings for different breeds, I’ve got some that were put in for Salers and they’ve broken the “hinges” for the head lock bar. But typical animals they will find a way to hurt/kill themselves in the most unique/awkward way.

Taking the hockey sticks off the feed faces. Supposed to be specially for horned cattle but had a disaster with them this week ☹️

@benonwine Sounds like a French summer. We start feeding out July/august. We’ve had no rainfall much since mar/apr. Our winter rain wasn’t sufficient to fill ground water supplies.

@therealmissjo I’m in the Vienne and it’s it in the 40s if it was 33c I’d be happy. This is not June weather. We’ve had harvesting banned in the afternoons because of it, making work difficult. We’ve also been having field fires. We’ve not had a decent rainfall since march/april

So I arrive in the “inferno” that everyone says France has become. The airport is air conditioned. The tram is air conditioned. The bus is air conditioned. The supermarket is air conditioned. What are people grumbling about? The temperatures at 33 degrees (at least in this area) are only a little above average for late June and not as high as they were about 15 years ago when I went to an outdoor show jumping event and it was 41 degrees.
