Even though Scotland lost last night. One thing about Scottish fans @TartanArmyGroup - welcoming, proud, cause no one any trouble- i think Scotland ought to be extremely proud of themselves and how they conduct themselves on a world stage.
@LeftiesHateMe@narindertweets@TartanArmyGroup Omg! It’s hot so her veins are showing. Grow up kiddo and go back to school. There’s a reason why you’re single and you’ve shown the world what a hateful person you are.
@benonwine Sounds like a French summer. We start feeding out July/august. We’ve had no rainfall much since mar/apr. Our winter rain wasn’t sufficient to fill ground water supplies.
The summer of 1976 wasn’t just hot — it was relentless. ☀️🥵🇬🇧
People remember glorious beach weather and endless sunshine… but there was another side to it.
Reservoirs ran dry.
Grass turned to dust.
Livestock were fed winter straw.
Standpipes appeared in streets as families queued with buckets and kettles just to get water.
People even reused bath water to keep their gardens alive.
Those who lived through it still talk about the intense, dry, almost suffocating heat a summer so extreme it became Britain’s benchmark for every heatwave since.
Nearly 50 years later, we’re still comparing hot summers to 1976.
Who here remembers the legendary summer of ’76? What do you remember most? 👇
To the man who zoomed in on my body and pointed out my stretch marks ...this is how a real woman looks.
This is how a REAL WOMAN looks like - loose skin, saggy, stretch marks.
Ladies - we are PERFECT 👌
@TheGriftReport Hmmm 🤔 JC is a player in the panto of deception. Did he really have prostate cancer? Or has he just influenced 1000’s of men to get blood tests so the NHS can establish the efficacy of the jabs they were forced to have? I wonder…….
Jeremy Clarkson Prostate Cancer Diagnosis Sparks 640% Surge In Men Getting Checked Saving Lives
Jeremy Clarkson aged 66 has revealed he is in remission from aggressive prostate cancer after an early diagnosis through a PSA test and his decision to go public has triggered a massive 640% surge in men using Prostate Cancer UKs online risk checker with over 50000 completing it in just one week.
The former Top Gear and Clarkson's Farm presenter urged men to get checked after his own experience and the charity reported a 74% increase in website traffic with 170813 users in the following days as thousands took action that could save their lives.
One in eight men will develop prostate cancer and more than 10000 dads brothers sons and friends are diagnosed too late for a cure every year making high profile stories like Clarkson's incredibly impactful according to Chiara De Biase of Prostate Cancer UK.
The surge is even greater than when former Prime Minister David Cameron revealed his own treatment last year and has highlighted the urgent need for a national screening programme as prostate cancer remains the most common cancer without one.
Clarkson who was diagnosed after a routine check now has no indication of cancer two months later and his openness has encouraged men across the country to confront their risk and seek early testing that could prevent late stage diagnoses.
The key thing that persuaded men to get checked was @JeremyClarkson pointing out the fact that it's no longer a finger "check" but just a simple blood test
So please can we keep this up and spread the word please share if you can, thanks!!
And thank you Jeremy!! and @ProstateUK !!
@GetTFVaccinated@PlantBasedNews Won’t always make digester grade either. But people will still say that it could’ve gone to feed people. People don’t mention grading because they don’t know about it, it’s beyond growers control.
@therealmissjo I’m in the Vienne and it’s it in the 40s if it was 33c I’d be happy. This is not June weather. We’ve had harvesting banned in the afternoons because of it, making work difficult. We’ve also been having field fires. We’ve not had a decent rainfall since march/april
So I arrive in the “inferno” that everyone says France has become.
The airport is air conditioned. The tram is air conditioned. The bus is air conditioned. The supermarket is air conditioned.
What are people grumbling about?
The temperatures at 33 degrees (at least in this area) are only a little above average for late June and not as high as they were about 15 years ago when I went to an outdoor show jumping event and it was 41 degrees.
@vicggallus@RyGuyHii@BearFlagFan@RyanWeather No but have done the barley which was ready a few weeks before we cut it last week. The wheat should be about ready next week. Normally we’d be early July
Americans might not appreciate just how hot it can get in France because of misleading Celsius temperature scale.
High temperatures on Monday pushing over 110°F
This is Las Vegas, Phoenix mid-summer heat! 🔥
@MrMBB333 Sooner or later, Europe will have a record cold Winter. We just have to live with it. Stop using fossil fuels tomorrow and return to Stone Age living will make zero difference. Try shouting at the sky and demand 'climate change' stops!
EUROPE IS TRAPPED UNDER A MASSIVE HEAT DOME
This isn’t just another hot summer day.
A powerful high-pressure system has settled over parts of Europe, trapping extreme heat over the same areas and allowing temperatures to build day after day.
That is what makes this different.
When the atmosphere gets locked in place like this, the heat has nowhere to go.
Roads, rail lines, power systems, crops, schools, hospitals, and people all start feeling the pressure.
France, Spain, the UK, and other parts of Europe are now dealing with dangerous heat alerts as temperatures push toward record levels for June.
And it’s happening early in the season.
The bigger question now is not just how hot it gets…
It’s how long the pattern stays locked in.
👇
Are these long-lasting heat domes becoming the new warning sign?

How hot is it in France on Monday?
Only 1.2 percent of the planet will be hotter than France's hottest place.
Places that will be hotter include the Sahara Desert, Desert Southwest and Middle East.
@Eric76096489183@BenNollWeather This is not normal June weather. These temps are more July/august. We’ve not had a decent rainfall for months and certainly not over winter and now we’re getting fires every other day it seems!
@peter_zett9982@LukiFrieden Paris ist im Moment kühler als dort, wo ich in der Vienne wohne; kein einziger Hochhausblock ist in Sicht, auch keine kilometerlangen Betonflächen, nur Felder und Bäume.
@LukiFrieden Temperatur Nantes: 41
London: 27
Berlin: 26
Paris: 37
Quelle: Wetter online gerade eben.
Wer schwurbelt so spät durch Nacht und Wind...... 🤦♂️
@AlexeiRamotar@MuskieAngler98@VeganSupremeTM And that will answer the bit about soy bean meal, the majority of the bean that is a waste product ie the 80% or 77% depending on your source after the useful part has been removed , that’s the high value part. Feed value is low.
@AlexTaylorNews The weather has been getting noticeably hotter since about 2015 with the exception of 2021 where 30 was the hottest. As a farmer the change is noticeable especially the seasons.
This was a famous French weather forecast in 2014 trying to alert people to what France would be like in 2050 because of climate change
Only 12 years on and most of us are already hotter - my town 43 today and not the 34 predicted👇
