I'm really considering reverting to C++ for next's year rendition of my new Geometry & Simulation course. Python syntax is really bad for matrix manipulations and the students waste 90% of their time on package version errors. Plus no native Cholesky and other important features.

Three EPFL students planning to attend @siggraph'22 are facing concerning delays in their Canada visa applications. They submitted biometric data and traveled personally to the nearest consulate with visa service (Lyon, France). They've been waiting 2 to 3 (!) months .. 1/2
