The movie gave us the OG Big 3 side by side even if it was brief, it’s a step in the right direction and should be emphasized more in MK3. But yes, LiuTana and CageBlade not being hinted at or touched on at all is noticeable. They’re iconic couples in the story and seeing them be absent just doesn’t seem right but I think there’s an opportunity to tell those stories in MK3. My guess is they didn’t have time to really establish these romances since MK2 in of itself seems like the “Real” first movie and a soft relaunch of live action MK. Establish the characters on their own first THEN bring them their partners. I think that’s fair.

Other than gameplay mk11 clears so hard. We can customize variation names, skins, gear, moveset, intros, outros, flawless block counter, interactive stages, mercy, friendships... mk1 feels so fucking empty just open the game and go online to fight thats it

@The_DCUBatman @Jinsakuu the show is about the peacemaker, but those invented characters that gunn inserted have much more personality than Emilia. Lois continues to have less development in the film than even Terrific; tell me the same won't happen in the second film with the Green Lanterns
