We live in an uncertain world. Everything can feel like it’s shifting, and anxiety is pervasive. Today’s Feast of the Annunciation reminds us: Mary said yes not because the future was clear, but because God is faithful.

We thank you for the first 300 days of Pope Leo’s ministry, for the quiet courage to lead in uncertain times, May his leadership reflect the heart of Christ a heart open to all, especially those who feel forgotten. May he continue to guide the Church into deeper communion, where faith is lived through justice, mercy, and love.

I know myself that I have been guilty of not celebrating in someone else’s joy. It is all too easy to see reflected in someone else’s joy, the image of what you don’t have or one of loss. Lord, help us to rejoice with others, to see their blessings without comparison, and to grow in hearts that celebrate the good wherever it is found. Amen.
