Indeed, great damage was done today to the public’s faith in the American legal system. If a former President can be criminally convicted over such a trivial matter – motivated by politics, rather than justice – then anyone is at risk of a similar fate.

A woman named Irish Tudtud yelled at Palestinian students that “they hope they get raped” and referred to Palestinian students as “rapists”. Public safety at Columbia University did not take action. @samaakhu @StopArabHate

Ontario is the greatest place in the world because of our diversity. It’s why so many people want to call our province home and they will always be welcome. My comments today meant to stress that there is more that unites us than divides us. While there will always be room for disagreement, violent acts that target specific religions or ethnicities do not reflect who we are or the values that represent our province.
