People ask me every day why the US government won’t regulate @BlackRock, they asked me why we’ve allowed black rock to control half of the nations corporations and to monopolistically maintain assets equivalent to the fourth largest economy in the world. This is why. Hundreds of billions of dollars, the equivalent of 81% of the US federal pension is invested exclusively with blackrock. The remaining 19% is invested with @StateStreet. Dozens of members of Congress report having more than $100,000 personally invested with blackrock. President @BarackObama appointed two members of Black rocks, Board of Directors to his national economic council, while President @JoeBiden appointed three, including one served as his senior economic advisor. However, this is a bipartisan issue, Given that as of 2015, President @realDonaldTrump reported having almost $50 million invested with blackrock. it is against the self interest of the members of our government to regulate these monopolies. Unfortunately we stopped requiring our public officials to serve our interests sometime ago and so this is where we are because we stopped holding them accountable when they failed in that endeavor. Capitalism as a system of economic mobility is probably the best we have when it’s functioning in a true free market, however, capitalism as a mechanism, relies on regulation to impede the less desirable human conditional traits of the constant need for more power, greed, & self interest. We have failed in that mission. It may be too late to right the ship , but I hope not.

The problem with “Great Replacement Theory” is that it fails to address the foundational issue of low birth rates. Record low birth rates are leading to population collapse in Europe and even faster population collapse in most of Asia. Immigration is low in Asia, so there is no “replacement” going on, the countries are simply shrinking away. If this doesn’t turn around, then any countries on Earth with low birth rates will become empty of people and fall into ruin, like the remains we see of the many long dead civilizations.
