@cutlerstom No we don't, Natalie! I manage land but don't access all of it - I'd be treading on skylark nests today, and disturbing sleeping hares. We need to put nature's needs first, not ours. More access but directed access plus areas where humans cannot go esp during breeding season

@Clarsonimus Interesting but not comparable. I feel it is better to compare the CO2 emissions produced in the various processes including wind farms particularly if you study climate change and are concerned about our planets future. Discuss.

#ClimateCrisis Fun Facts: The maximum power density of a solar farm is 50 watts per square meter. Natural gas plants have a power density of 2,000 watts per square meter. Nuclear plants have a power density of 6,000 watts per square meter.

Do we still use any @PalantirTech linked services in the NHS and council in Herefordshire? If so our privacy may well be at risk.

Shame it encourages traditional climate damaging flights - any non jet airport (ie green) flights yet ?

@themattyjmp @HerefordFC What age was Bowen when he played for us? Great to see the Forest lads using our fixture pile up and coaching to their benefit. I look forward to welcoming them and watching them develop with us. Good to see Caddis & Co are trusted and respected by another big club.

@HerefordFC I wish these lads well. But we can't be expecting a bunch of under 20s and loanees to turn things around... If we are to stay up, we need grit and experience in this league. Only problem is, no experienced player is going to want to do 24 games in 12 weeks at minimal budget.

The separating of pedestrians from Lorries and tractors at Lugwardine bridge should be a safety.
Here for Hereford ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿƒ@HereforHereford

This is news because normally @HfdsCouncil don't provide raised crossings at side roads to make it easier for ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿฆฝ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ to cross roads & reinforce that this complies with priorities in the Highways code. Sadly it keeps using "shared space" on pavements for ๐Ÿšฒ &๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธwhich is v poor ๐Ÿ˜”

Whether you look at the Welsh Nation, Scottish or English towns, cities and villages or in continental Europe, 20mph/30km/h limits reduce casualties, noise, stress and create healthier streets. Its time to set it as an urban/village default and only increase where evidentially ju

Itโ€™s strange that weโ€™re still having to campaign to put walking and cycling on an equal footing with driving in transport planning. I mean itโ€™s bonkers when you think about the health, nature, culture, education, community & energy policy gains. theguardian.com/politics/2025/โ€ฆ

Here for Hereford ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿƒ
"Active Travel England, said Herefordshire rated just 1 on its 0-4 scale of councils' capacity to deliver active travel schemes, and that this was "linked to the amount of funding that you get". @HfdsCouncil prefer to borrow ยฃ30m for a new road than deliver safe ๐Ÿšฒ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ›ด for all.
BBC Hereford & Worcester@bbchw

Many wanted the Herefordshire proposal to go further, whilst others did not support "anything that was prioritising walking and cycling over cars." More here: bbc.in/4mfNiu1

Even though the price of oil has dropped why did OFGEN allow the electricity companies to increase their prices! When will they link the price of electricity to renewables? This summer has been the sunniest ever - couldnโ€™t OFGEN increase what those with solar panels are paid? x.com/dalevince/statโ€ฆ
