@GristleWhistle You can’t specifically influence Gigus. Every dust you use for a different faction gives you a small chance to get Gigus. At 20 fate you have a 5 percent chance to roll Gigus

@dancerr what material is it to influence into gigus faction? i assumed it would be dust or shard, but its not allowing me to use any

We're 19 days into hatching our Gigaverse Giglings and today I've maxxed out my fate on my best egg. Following the fate guide I posted earlier this one has gone max Chobo - the best faction - and will hatch with a 95% chance to be aligned with Chobo, 5% chance with Gigus.

@0xDith @dancerr @playgigaverse fishing is the #1 reason I gigaverse. 31+ seaweed needs to be higher for a lvl4 catch tho imho

Quality 4 fish unlocked for the first time in @playgigaverse. Catching this fish gave an extra +31 seaweed... a nice little bonus! Love the fishing minigame and haven't missed a day playing it since release.

@HollanderAdam Hey Adam, would have been way better to be able to mint this SBT on our linked abstract wallet. It forced users to mint on Abstract but with the eth address which is not the same for most users. If it has TGE bonuses later it will cause problems imo

Yeah so we just launched our own swap system: GIGA SWAP. We'll use it for many things. It's been built in such a way we can do interesting stuff... like apply buffs / better conversion rates based on your holdings, and much more. 😉

Level 24 in @playgigaverse fishing unlocked 🎣 I decided to make the jump from lv. 20 to 24 as I finally had enough seaweed to do so. May all the gigaverse fish gods have mercy on my soul, by not spamming 50 health fish with erratic movement pattern🙏 Is this a good decision? I think it is, but time will tell. At this level, its too costly to downgrade back to 20, so I am stuck with this decision. The idea is that even though my catch rate will suffer now that I will ocasionally get nuked by Q3, I will atleast be almost fully compensated since I used the 4 skill pts to level up twice in Jebaitor. Thats a 4.5% increase in probability to get bait back. I am currently packing two uncommon Chimpu lure, and combined with level 5 in Jebaitor it means a 13.25% probability of getting bait back. Realistic outcomes over 20 casts (binomial distribution): Procs and probability: 0 = ~5% 1 = ~17% 2 = ~25% 3 = ~24% 4 = ~16% 5+ = ~13% ~50% of the days I will get 2-3 bait back. ~29% of the days I will get 4-5 bait back. Then 20% of the days I will proc 0 or 1 bait back and create an angry twitter post about that, no doubt. Not only is the bait juicy, but at lv 24 the catch rate of rare fish is noticable better than at lv 20: Giga: +0.03% Relic: +0.14% Leg: +0.33% Epic: +0.54% Rare: +0.85% Uncommon: +0.50% Common: -2.41% Another factor is that devs silently doubled the bonus for catching quality fish. When you previously got ~50 seaweed for catching a legendary Q2, you now get ~100. I feel fairly confident all the above equals enough compensation and then some. Probability of facing Q2 and Q3 at lv. 24: Q3: 6.51% Q2: 10.28% (Regular fish: 83.21%)
