President Trump uttered numerous false claims, including long-debunked lies, at his press conference today - in addition to several very-much-uncorroborated claims, like the one about how every living former president is saying “to their friends” that the US should’ve started this war long ago.  Quick fact check of some of his remarks: - Trump repeated his 11-year-old lie that his 2000 book advised the authorities to take out Osama bin Laden. It contained no advice about bin Laden at all, just one passing mention. - Trump falsely claimed, at a press conference focused on what happened after the US lost two planes to Iranian fire, that “really” the “only” planes the US has lost during the war have been the result of friendly fire. - Trump repeated his familiar lie that he’s “ended eight wars.” His “eight” list, among various other problems, includes two situations that weren’t actually wars and at least one war that didn’t actually end.  - Trump again greatly exaggerated the US troop presence in South Korea, saying twice that it’s “45,000.” Pentagon data from year-end says it was 26,722, 23,395 of them on active duty.  - Trump repeated his assertion that Venezuela’s Maduro “released hundreds of thousands of people from jails into our country,” a claim he and his team have never substantiated even though he’s made it for years now.  cnn.com/2026/04/06/pol…

@SenFettermanPA As Fetterman knows, Democrats on 7 different occasions have offered bills to fund every part of DHS except ICE, including TSA. But he is now simply a MAGA propagandist and useful idiot of Fox and the Republican Party.

This morning at PIT, so many TSA employees expressed their appreciation for standing with them and shared their financial hardship. End this ridiculous DHS shutdown NOW. Pay these hardworking TSA agents and all DHS employees who collectively keep our country more secure.

Except the chaos, destruction and death that has followed him his entire career; though the stakes were lower when his victims were his own casino executives and whatever collateral damage occurred from his mob associations. BAPTIST IDOLATRY The largest Baptist church in Alabama has announced plans to build a 120-foot statue of President Trump on its campus as a "token of appreciation for what God has done for the United States under his leadership." Church leaders say the monument will overlook the campus in a pose that some observers noted bears a striking resemblance to the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. When asked about the similarity, one of the church board members clarified the difference: "That statue in Brazil is an idol, this is simply a respectful tribute to the greatest leader in all of world history, who just happens to have been divinely chosen." Plans reportedly include a viewing platform at the base of the statue, a gift shop selling commemorative hats and devotional coffee mugs, and nightly lighting so the statue can be seen from several counties away. The lead pastor emphasized that the project is not meant to replace worship to God but rather to "encourage gratitude towards God, and of course patriotism, and the occasional selfie." Construction is expected to begin once enough donations are collected, which organizers say should happen quickly since "patriotic generosity is practically a spiritual gift around here." Church leaders added that anyone comparing the monument to a golden calf is "missing the point entirely," noting that the statue will be made of reinforced concrete, not gold.

Asked the IIHF for comment on the missed call, 6 Czechs skaters on the ice for their 3-2 goal. An IIHF spokesperson today said they reviewed it and obviously saw what we all saw, there was a missed called there. The IIHF says they went through a thorough process to select the on-officials for this tournament, the best of the best are here. But mistakes happen. The spokesperson said everyone involved has regrouped and are focusing on the rest of the tournament.

Watch as MAGA loudmouth Randy Fine illegally casts votes for other members of the Florida House of Reps.
