Figure $FIGR about to trade from $78 to broken IPO below $25 all in the span of a month or so... just wild momentum alongside improving fundamentals + lock-up pulled forward. Share repurchase will be executed, and it wouldn't be shocking to see management buy here after saying the business can surpass $SOFI in 18 months...

$FIGR tripped the 11/21 low by a mere 20 cents on Friday. Nice bounce from there. Not my kind of trade but was a good spot around $33 to step in. NP

$OCUL I'm holding 45k shares @ $10.43. Initially bought at $12.80 during the pre-market run up a month ago and have been averaging down over the last few weeks. Hoping for good things at 5 am Pacific tomorrow...

@TheBio_Hunter Shooter was also facing the guy the entire time leading up to the shooting. He shot the guy in the back and it was plain as day that the victim's hands were no where near a weapon. The entire time he was being swarmed and just trying to keep his balance.

#ICE, #Minneapolis Based on the footage available so far, the moments leading up to the shooting appear to show an overly aggressive approach by federal agents. That said, it’s hard to judge these situations from a couch, watching video after the fact. In real time, people are forced to make split-second decisions in chaotic conditions—often in ways no amount of training can fully prepare them for. A lack of experience and escalation on all sides may have contributed to a tragic outcome. What the video appears to show is this: during the physical takedown, an officer in a gray coat reaches in to secure a firearm that likely fell or became dislodged. In multiple angles, this sequence is fairly clear. As an agent moves away with Alex Pretti’s gun, the weapon appears to discharge into the ground unintentionally—you can see what casing ejecting from the chamber. That unexpected shot may have triggered a second agent’s split-second belief that the situation had suddenly escalated into a deadly threat, prompting a rapid volley of gunfire. If the evidence ultimately confirms this sequence, it would suggest the deadly outcome may have been set in motion by an accidental discharge—followed by a catastrophic misinterpretation in a high-stress moment. Unless the temperature gets turned down and de-escalation becomes the default, incidents like this will continue.

@TheBio_Hunter If you watch the slow motion video, the shooter already was drawing his gun before the weapon was removed and as soon as he saw that the gun was removed, he proceeded to shoot. Seems like he thought murdering was justifiable once he saw that the guy had been carrying a weapon.

@StockMarketNerd Your returns are basically in line with nasdaq over the same period. Since the companies you cover are more tech and growth focuses, you really should be comparing with nasdaq and not s&p, which has 500 companies, most of which are nothing like what you cover

We’re at the part of bull markets where my 10%+ compounded annual lead vs. the S&P 500 gets criticized. I know this person is probably anxious and scared based on their tone and their bio, so I won’t take it personally. Maybe he should explore that paywall though. Could be helpful. “Comfort zone” is another word for zone of competence.

Whenever the AI CapEx supercycle slows… I’d rather own a mega-cap with world class businesses in other secular growth stories & a demonstrated ability to use this compute to at least drive efficiency gains or some impactful app updates. I’d rather have financials tied but not 100% tied to these tailwinds. I’d rather own companies with more diverse & flexible uses of compute. And I’d like to be positioned to enjoy a FCF boom if compute demand slows. I’d rather not own pure-play infra. companies with parabolic stocks, wildly uncertain forward estimates & financials entirely tied to cyclical CapEx growth. Less upside from this cycle continuing to zoom? Sure. But a lot less downside too.

@StockMarketNerd The fact that the s&p 500 is up over 24% annualized shows that we have been in a solidly bull market. How has your portfolio done against nasdaq on both time frames?
