@jcrouch2020 Naw man, $SOfI will be fine. It’s up over 100% in 4 years. One of my better performing positions actually. Drawdowns are inevitable if you want big gains.

@FinnMcCool100 Probably not. Financially maybe the better advice, but I personally enjoy stock picking. That said I have other investments besides this account. Some of those are in the equivalent of index’s. I think indexes provide a good base.

I’m on vacation, and trying not to look at the account, but this $AMD run is crazy It moved up to 3rd in my portfolio… I decided to take advantage and trim a little to raise a little capital. Trimmed 20% Still planning to hold the rest long term. 🦜

Holding fundamentally thriving companies that have deeply corrected while they’re mocked by the peanut gallery for reasons not important to pace of long term compounding is hard. I think it’s also an edge. A willingness to look wrong for a period of time has served me extremely well in my investing journey. My biggest winners were routinely losers at some point during the holding period.
