Im not doing this shit. When I first left "the left" probably 10 to 15 years ago now, the very first thing I noticed is that the vitriol was *not* the same as when I was on the left. The right talked shit. I had a boss for years that knew I was a shitlib and he'd make jokes about it, but it was *different* I never got the sense for a moment the dude legitimately hated me, would fire me, etc. The moment I moved to the right, it was another *world* I would know people *my entire life* would I *immediately* sense would actively *try to hurt me career and socially* if I made them mad disagreeing with me. And it often ended up happening. The level of intrinsic hate is just completely different.

People are perplexed that the shooter seemed to be a somewhat normal guy, with an education and a job. As a Conservative who has been living near DC for 15 years, this isn’t perplexing at all. If you could hear the way Leftists talk about Trump and his supporters, especially when they think there are no Trump supporters around, none of this would surprise you. They actually believe Trump is Hitler, and they actually believe violence is justified against Trump and his supporters. This is not some fringe belief, this is widespread. They openly and unapologetically fantasize about Republican politicians being assassinated. They are proud of it. You could ask any Leftist on the street in DC if they wish any of the assassination attempts on Trump were successful, and they will look you straight in the eye and say “absolutely”. Just like they openly rooted for us to die during Covid. A great sickness infects these people, and I don’t think those who live outside the cities have any idea just how much these Leftists hate you and want you to die. The shooter was not some fringe activist. He is just a regular Leftist who acted on the thoughts and conversations that all of them have been conditioned to have, due to the 24/7 exposure to anti-Trump propaganda from every bit of media they consume. The abortion debate is hiting the leftards pretty hard and I can explain why. Initially abortion was sold as something "safe legal and rare" , but in recent times women have convinced themselves that abortion is just another counterceptive method. Even worse they have further gaslit themselves to believe that most men are fine with it, and they don't care at all or at least shouldn't care. Then reality hits them like a wall and find out that no, actually, allot of men find women who had an abortion, unapealing and not worthy of romantic pursuit. Instead of saying "ok well maybe those men aren't for me" they just cannot stand to cope with reality, they don't think their original view was wrong, instead they think those men are wrong and need re-education. They refuse the "no means no" attitude that they preach to others and instead if they could they would FORCE those men to pick a woman that had abortions because in their mind, men do not have a right for preferences or a right to chose even when it comes to what partner they want in life.
