@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill Hahahaha ok everyone watched you run. Lmk when you learn how to answer basic questions.
English

@RealBenMichael @patristicpill No, Ben. 🤦🏼♀️ I am saying no to your demand that I answer it.
You need to answer my question before we move forward. If you can’t do that, then this is useless.
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill Are you saying no to my question? You don’t believe the sacrament of confession is a violation of the Gospel?
English

No, the reason I am asking is because If you do not understand how we believe someone is saved, then any other question you ask is useless because we’re not operating from a shared understanding.
It is like we’re speaking two different languages. So I am trying to fix that problem so we can have an actual fruitful conversation.
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill Answer, you don’t get to answer a question with a question. You’re not Jesus.

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill Is confession a violation of the gospel yes or no?
English

@RealBenMichael @patristicpill How is someone saved based on Protestant theology, Ben?
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill You get to ask a question after we’re done with this line of questioning that you have been dodging.

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill Is confession a violation of the gospel yes or no?
English

I’m asking the question because the answer is required to even have an honest dialogue on this topic.
If you do not understand Protestant beliefs, then you aren’t able to accurately critique it. I’m trying to help you in your apologetics because right now you just look ignorant to any Protestant reading this.
English

@RealBenMichael @patristicpill No, you’re just twisting what I said. 😂
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill You can’t answer a question with a question. Is the sacrament of confession a violation of the Gospel yes or no?
English

@RealBenMichael @patristicpill Ben, according to Protestant theology, how is someone saved?
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill Yes you did. I argue with them all the time, what you said was indistinguishable from what they say.
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill And before you fire off a response, you know I’m asking specifically about the sacrament of confession as administered by the Church.
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill Is confession a violation of the gospel yes or no?
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill You don’t speak for Protestants first of all, you’re also clearly making this up as you go as you just professed the same thing Mormons believe. I don’t know any Protestant who thinks what you’re claiming in this thread.
English

@RealBenMichael @patristicpill My analogy does work, you’re just having a difficult time understanding what Protestants actually believe.
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill Wait a minute so there wasn’t actually a remnant who believed in the true gospel then it was just out of ignorance that they were saved, this is no different from the Mormon belief, they say this exact same thing💀💀
English

Again, you are trying to force an EO worldview onto the conversation when we do not think the same as you on this topic. We believe someone can truly be saved even while holding to erroneous beliefs.
There are many who took part in the sacraments due to not knowing better, but are truly only trusting in Jesus for their salvation.
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill Oh and if you didn’t partake of them you were excommunicated. So your little analogy doesn’t work.
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill You believe the sacraments were inherently violations of sola fide. The sacraments were unquestionably universal in the 10th century. So I ask again, where was this remnant you speak of? I’d love to read about them.
English

@kangminlee His accusation against Fishback was a literal fabrication
English

Unlike you, I've never advocated for children to have sex.

Oh we can fabricate posts now?
English

@LizzieMarbach @patristicpill Which group specifically meets your standard for this, where can I read about them?
English

@RealBenMichael @patristicpill All who believed in Christ alone for their salvation by the power of the Holy Spirit.
