"My conversation to the players would always be we can do what we can do..
I can't control what another team paid somebody or didn't pay somebody" ~ Bill Belichick

The kids are joining running clubs, buying “dumb” phones, woodworking, rocking Walkmans, joining supper clubs, etc because their lives have been swallowed by digital black boxes, and in this moment of uncertainty (tension re: war, AI, climate), they crave tangibility. It’s simple
Joe Mazzulla:
"We went after greatness, and we've got to keep going after it. For as long as we have the opportunity, the responsibility, we go after greatness together."

@alfranken Bill Walton.
😥 What a great basketball player, but more importantly a great human(e) being and Grateful Dead fan. R.I.P. at 71 years age, passed from prostate cancer. 😥✌️❤️
Shocked to hear that my friend Bill Walton has died of cancer. This is the last I saw him. Of course at a Dead & Company show. A sweet giant of a man with a sweet and giant spirit. My heart goes to his family and all who had the privilege of knowing Bill.
@BarackObama Bill Walton was my age and I loved not only his athleticism but his passing and dynamic team play. He was a vibrant man and an inspiration. This should make more people aware of the disease that killed him - prostate cancer, which claims hundreds of thousands of men every year.
Bill Walton was one of the greatest basketball players of all time – a champion at every level and the embodiment of unselfish team play. He was also a wonderful spirit full of curiosity, humor and kindness. We are poorer for his passing, and Michelle and I send our deepest condolences to his family.
Farewell to the great and vibrant Bill Walton, a champion on the basketball court, in the broadcasting booth, and every other place he graced with his energy and love of life. People need to be aware of the disease that killed Bill and countless other men - prostate cancer.

Carb-rich dinner last night. Last bite around 9pm. Ate a large portion, plus some dark chocolate with walnuts.

@ajbrehm24@joshclackler Will played linebacker and transitioned to DE in the NFL. So
Yeah ur point about not developing guys is right in line with that. Bama produced the top defensive player in the country last year. U want to cherry pick positions to make your argument.
@docdan401@joshclackler None of those positions were in the original tweet but congrats on watching the first two picks of the NFL Draft! Really added to the conversation!
@ajbrehm24@joshclackler Will Anderson was 2 time SEC defensive player of the year. Lost to the draft. Texas had their whole d line back. Lost Bryce and they had Ewers back.
@joshclackler It is on Saban. If the players aren’t as good at the end of the day it’s his job to get them there, be that by his development or by hiring the guys to do it.
What matters more for the psychedelic renaissance:
1. California legalizing all plant medicines
2. @MAPS getting FDA approval for MDMA
And which one happens first?
@devin_effinger It is his reach. That said he just very recently jumped on the psychedelic train thanks to Ferris and others. I would caution putting his opinions on a pedestal as he literally just started working with these substances and topics.
@RussellHausfeld@jomo137@p5iloBenjamin@D__Nickles@Psilomethoxin That’s one antidote, one persons experience. I don’t think one persons experience should be discounted nor held as a standard or collective experience. Thousands of church members claim quite the opposite. As do I.
