AFL attendance is down 2026 by around 500,000.
So many reasons why - the cost, the crappy rules, the woke politics, the cost of food, the corporate bullshit .... Katy Perry ...
The game is moving further and further away from football to a game that is barely recognisable.
I'm done with AFL.

@draw82 That’s literally what movie star means. Box office. Blockbuster. Success.
English

Literally everyone in marvel in is a flop outside of Scarlett Johansson. None of them are movie stars, and she has had success before, during and after the MCU. None of the Chris’s had it like that. In fact, the directors who hailed MCU the “death of cinema” were right!
Me@KirkWrites79
Ryan Gosling just had his 1st hit as a lead this weekend since LA LA LAND. We are not hearing that he might go away. Chris Hemsworth has never been the lead of a hit movie. Ever. I enjoy both of them as actors. But Kevin Hart has more box office clout. We just don’t hear that.

@MrMatthewTodd @Geniustechw In 1 billion years the earth will cease to exist anyway. Little bitch got what she deserved.
English

@Geniustechw This was last year. What’s your reaction to the fact 2024 is the hottest year on over 100,000 years and the worlds scientists are telling us the collapse of civilisation is on the horizon?

@blue_cheesse @TheCineprism This is a GREEK story, where the GREEKS imagined the characters as GREEK. Calling it fictional just to use that as an excuse to change the races of the characters shows how retarded you are

@Cassandrasl99 Was there a sign saying you can turn left on red? No? Then shut up.
English

@EricWesselow @diandrasdiandra I haven’t seen it yet, (foreshame) so can’t comment specifically how shit it possibly is.
English

@draw82 @diandrasdiandra Crash and Green Book rightfully get the most hate but I don't think A Beautiful Mind gets NEARLY enough heat for what a dog shit best picture win it is.

stop trying to make chicago hate happen, it will never happen

What’s the WORST Oscar win of the century so far? We debate the 10 worst wins since the turn of the century in honor of the #AcademyAwards… Did we miss anything?
English

@Historydivinity History will look back on Jessie Buckley as a terrible actress. This win was the final nail in the coffin of the Oscars' credibility 😆

One of the most pathetic things I’ve ever heard, and watched.
So a brilliant and fabulous woman who just made history for her home country of Ireland , for herself as an actor, who worked on something that clearly meant the world to her Is suddenly doing too much because she burst into tears?
I’m trying to understand how someone could watch Jessie Buckley all season and not find her genuine surprise at each ceremony moving.
She is from a county in Ireland and has worked since she was eighteen to become a great actress. She survived an eating disorder after finding that acting helped her.
Not only has her film Hamnet earned her the Academy award for best actress but she also swept that season becoming the first Irish winner for each ceremony. Her family was even flown out by her country to come support her. I think that calls for bit of emotion .
She was able to win for something that she loves and that is Shakespeare.
I understand that maybe Sean Fennessey, and Amanda Dobbins (who admitted she cried five times during the ceremony, but found another woman’s happy tears too much) feel that they have the right to nitpick every single thing that happened during the ceremony , but they also had the option of being kind human beings and it is something they failed to do.
They should be called out for this, and hopefully they will be. I hope we don’t let this one slide by because truly it is disgusting. To tear apart someone’s happiest moment is a pathetic thing to do all in the name of attention for a podcast.
At the end of the day, Jessie Buckley will still be an Academy Award winner, and be loved by fans and her family. And she’ll be remembered throughout history, whenever someone wonders which woman was the the first Irish Academy award winner for best actress.

@BlueFox__94 @BensOscarMath The narrative being all the gloating around Sinners being a “loser” of a film. Go back to your klan
English

@draw82 @BensOscarMath A new statistic that might last for decades is a "narrative" now?
English

@hunteryharris And everyone who voted for Halle Berry should see Catwoman, or Sandra Bullock in All About Steve. What’s your point?
English

@hvnroseliu Is this a joke? Jessica definitely deserved it! If we’re talking about the worst Michelle Yeoh should be first
