I feel like the finale was trying to recapture that unstoppable fury we got from the end of Jedi Fallen Order with Vader. But not having him speak a single time across the whole episode kinda drags it down for me.

Some people think Obi-Wan defeating Vader in 9 BBY is ridiculous. Obi-Wan was out of practice/struggling with his connection to the Force. But he also centered himself and thought of Luke and Leia here. He opened to The Force, which has its own will, as he remembered his purpose. Luke Skywalker has a great quote: "Think of yourself as a door. The wider you open, the more easily the Force flows through you." I believe that perfectly applies to this scene with Obi-Wan.
