Anon here – looking for support on a challenging situation. My chair of governors is also a parent at my school and frequently contacts me on my personal number outside of work hours, often late in the evening (after 9:30 pm) or very early (before 6:00 am), specifically to discuss her child. Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you approach setting boundaries without straining the professional relationship? Any advice on handling this sensitively would be greatly appreciated! Would love to hear your thoughts – please share if you know someone who could help.

I remember in 2009 when I did new born visits from the Children’s Centre. Mothers were so glad to see someone, alongside their health visitor which meant that they could get out, be with other mums and speak to someone trained in development of their baby. That was impact. Fact
