The Prime Minister is right. I want him to focus on the job. We should all be focusing on the job. We were elected less than two years ago to end the political chaos of the Conservatives, to bring back stability, to govern properly, to change lives. That is what we must do.

Reversing these results requires a collective effort, not just blaming the boss. We can’t do that by turning in on ourselves. We do it by rebuilding faith in Labour’s ability to inspire and lead our country. Losing our Prime Minister is the very opposite of that. There's no getting away from it, this was a tough election. In Ipswich, we took the fight to Reform and won a number of areas, but we lost good people too. However, we can't turn inwards. We've got to get to work next week and focus on delivering the change we promised in 2024.
