A truly bizarre performance from Musk at MSG just now. Also clearly hints at the idea of 2020 voter fraud. Peddling a lie from the owner of one of the most important information networks in the world.

We must ban solar farms on prime agricultural land. Solar panels are for roofs, not for farmland. Our countryside and food security is precious. telegraph.co.uk/politics/2024/…

That - genuinely - might be the best goal I’ve ever seen from a Reading player. He’s been a little bit off it this season, but that is a ludicrous hit from Lewis Wing. Absolutely ludicrous. #readingfc

Even 8 years later, it’s still extraordinary to think that Britain deliberately chose to shrink its domestic market from 450m people to 65m on the recommendation of a bunch of liars, charlatans and fools
BBC Radio 4 Today@BBCr4today

"The difference in the UK, on your own now, separate from Europe, it's a relatively small market." David Ricks, CEO of pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly, tells #R4Today 'something needs to be quite different' to make the UK interesting in the global markets after leaving the EU.

Sky News can reveal Home Secretary Yvette Cooper went for free to a Taylor Swift concert as guest of Swift’s music label Universal Music. Ms Cooper went as a guest of her huband, Ed Balls who was given four tickets. That came after the home secretary had discussions about boosting protection for Ms Swift when she was in London after concerts were cancelled in Vienna because of a foiled attack Mr Balls was offered the tickets on August 4, before the Swift's shows in Vienna were cancelled for a show on August 16 This has not appeared in the public register to date because the tickets were understood to be worth £170 - less than the £300 that would make it a declarable expense. Earlier today the home secretary made the declaration to the cabinet office.
