I did the full self drive for a few weeks and it got boring very quickly. It’s not a reason to buy one. I started to look at the e-tron but obviously need to do much more research. The range certainly seems good. I would agree. The Tesla’s do seem very cheaply made, and we’ve had a few of them over the years. Never again.

Our family were early adopters of electric vehicles. Been all electric for 7 years. I like the drive and performance plus it’s been kinda fun using roof top solar for our “fuel”. I’m a centrist politically. One of our cars is a Tesla. I don’t like Elon’s politics. I wouldn’t buy another one in large part because of this but also not overly impressed with the quality. I’ve started to look at other electric options and dealers for other brands have said they are getting many people coming in looking for something non Tesla. I was also told the trade in value for my Tesla is lower because demand for them is down. I’m genuinely curious how other Tesla owners are feeling? Anyone recently sold their Tesla? I am a believer that how and where we spend our money matters. What other options are people looking at?

@markroseman There are physician assistants standing by and ready to work for interior health in emergency medicine. Allegedly, they are writing policy...

IH spends $264M/y on "corporate expenditures". Maybe use some to staff ERs??? Not that "tremendous efforts" aren't enough 🙄 Interior Health CEO says 'tremendous' recruitment efforts being made to avoid temporary ER closures - Kamloops News castanetkamloops.net/news/Kamloops/…

@dockevinmcleod @markroseman Imagine what it is like being a PA in BC specializing in emergency medicine and not being able to work locally. I will add that interior health is moving forward, albeit with its own hurdles.

When patients cannot access a primary care physician diagnosis and treatment is delayed. This worsens outcomes and leads to more complex and expensive treatments being needed. I have spoken to multiple patients today who could not access care in a timely way and now their outcome will be worse but they also are going to cost you a heck of a lot more tax dollars for their treatment. It’s very frustrating. I cannot understand why it is not all hands on deck at the government level to get physician assistants more integrated into the system, physicians who are living here who have trained in exceptionally high-quality programs abroad licensed, increasing the number of residency spots in family medicine and internal medicine far more quickly, and expanding nurse practitioner training. Mediocrity is not improving our system.

In the days since I announced I am not running again in the upcoming provincial election; I've had some time to reflect on my time as MLA for North Coast. Sharing my thoughts, with love and gratitude to my North Coast communities and constituents. @bcndp

The care provided at @BCChildrensHosp has always been amazing. But the waiting for procedures and #surgeries gets taxing on everyone. My daughter is waiting for extensive #orthopaedic surgery. Let's act on option that could help care for the children of #BC faster. @CAPA_ACAM

Listening & chatting to @CAPA_ACAM members, PAs & Govt officials was very informative today. The new PA pilot project is something, but we can do more & so much faster. Follow along as we continue to learn more about how PAs could help heal our broken #healthcare system.

@alandrummond2 As a PA specializing in emergency medicine, and one of many that has had to travel out of province for work, this is truly a watershed moment for healthcare in BC.

@JEVLloyd @adriandix Sad. This is especially brutal for our elders. Ask your MLA about utilizing Physician Assistants.

The only update on physician assistants since adopting the bylaw. 1. Pretty sure there’s no PAs or @CAPA_ACAM at the table to work on the compensation model 2. Lots of policies about PA across 🇨🇦 should be fairly simple 3. Not sure why @cpsbc mentions associate physicians

@dockevinmcleod It would be amazing if BC joined the rest of the country in utilizing Physician Assistants (PAs)! We are here. We want to work here. And we make a difference by enabling more patients seen & being cost effective. #BCNeedsPAs
