The only update on physician assistants since adopting the bylaw. 1. Pretty sure there’s no PAs or @CAPA_ACAM at the table to work on the compensation model 2. Lots of policies about PA across 🇨🇦 should be fairly simple 3. Not sure why @cpsbc mentions associate physicians

This union may well represent one day…but @CAPA_ACAM is the profession’s voice.

Wow! This has been in the works for over a decade! Incredible advocacy/persistence @CAPA_ACAM and all the various stakeholders who’ve continued to advocate for this.

@SKGandhiMD It’s a start… be even better if the emerg PA working in rural BC could work in family practice, CHC or other non HA employers when not in the ER. Say Coast Guard, corrections Canada Surgical wait times could improve also…decreasing M&M but costs would no longer be deferred
