Steam charts are one of the worst thing to ever happen to video game discourse. Imagine talking about music and being like “oh you like so-and-so band, that’s cute. Too bad they suck compared to Backstreet Boys. See how low they are on the billboard chart in comparison”

Growing up in the 90s people were talking about how radio (and the charts) were dominated by music pushed at you by the corporations. Steamcharts is an independent metric unweighted by outside influence

@JurassicRabbit Billboard charts take into account radio airplay, of which virtually all in US were bought out by a singke company, and stream count, of which Spotify recently revealed had a significant botting problem. Steam player account is an actual metric more honest than user reviews.

@Arrrrash I think they should just get rid of solos and make duos a permanent thing. Duos makes much more sense than solos. I’m not trying to load into a lobby full of assassins that’s just a waste of time.

@AverageAtheism @DSPetolicchio If you approach the testimonies with the perception that every single person is lying, then the only evidence you’ll ever accept is a face to face interaction with a being. No point in you even discussing it on twitter.

@AverageAtheism @DSPetolicchio There are literal testimonies under oath and loads of video footage. If you want to see an alien face to face maybe look into the methods provided by others that allow one to communicate with them. To say there’s “zero” credible evidence is simply not true.

@maevesfw @xOhSo_ I see your point but i don’t think Outpost is supposed to be an endgame map. Cryo is clearly that. They’ll likely add other maps for mid game that play similarly to Outpost. More variety will help with the issue you’re trying to address.
