Episode 2 is live. @liseman from @MakeSunsets is deploying sulfur dioxide to the stratosphere and selling cooling credits to fund it. I believe cooling is necessary! But I'm less sure that acting without institutional buy-in gets us where we need to go. We just hit a new milestone! This month, we deployed a record-breaking 23,951 Cooling Credits, offsetting the equivalent of what over 1 million mature trees lasting a year. Yesterday’s launch helped push us over the edge: 3 biodegradable balloons, 4,585g of SO2, and a 100% success rate reaching the stratosphere. Launch details below
