Je me souviens, en France, dans les années 70, le marché locatif était libre. Pour trouver un appartement à louer, il suffisait de parcourit les 10 dernières pages du Figaro. Il n'y avait que cela. Des petites annonces locatives. Un choix colossal qui suivait la loi du marché et offrait donc des options raisonnables. Et puis, les socialistes sont arrivés au pouvoir. Ils ont accordé davantage de droits aux locataires qu'aux propriétaires. Notamment, la régulation des loyers. Du jour au lendemaint, les pages de petites annonces du Figaro ont disparu. Il est devenu impossible ou presque de trouver un appartement à louer. Les rares propriétaires qui louaient encore ont mis en place des règles tellement drastiques que, faute d'avoir gagné au moins 3 ou 4 fois le montant du loyer pendant des mois, pas de clé, pas de toit. En supprimant la liberté individuelle et en controlant le profit lié à l'investissement, le socialisme tue tout ce qu'il touche.
