@tmount @Ringsthecaddy Side note: The altitude in Bogota can catch you off guard so if you have any physical activities planned, save them for later in the trip. I was dying on a hike the morning after I landed and struggled with @milesandpints on a hilly bike tour.

I think I’ve had enough examples to declare that of all the places I’ve traveled, Romania has the best croissants outside of France.

Was puzzled why my entry to the art museum in Cluj-Napoca was 4 lei instead of 16. Turns out it’s because only 1/4 of the museum was open. 😂 There was a huge book sale and a conference in the rest. Kind of nice. Many museums would have still charged the full amount.

So sad to be leaving Paris though. I love this city so much and made some amazing new friends on this trip. I’ll definitely be back.

Happiness - having a beer along a canal in Paris in a beautiful day. Unhappiness - trying to contact two banks and two utilities from France and only succeeding with one of the four.

Time to fly again after a great day in Manhattan and some delicious snacks at the Air France lounge. JFK-CDG with Air France tonight.

Time to fly SYR-EWR with @united. Full day of playing in NYC and then off to Paris late tonight.

I’ve been to Paris many times. I’ve seen all the big stuff. I’ll be there for three nights next week. Anybody have some off the beaten track or odd things I should see or do?

@milesandpints Cemetery to see Jim Morrison’s grave? Lots of famous people buried there and it is a really interesting place to visit.

@DavidOcamb I’ll be in both Bordeaux and the Champagne Valley next summer. Will save the heavy wine activities for then.
