I know its a bummer for people not to see their favorite game or characters adapted properly, but I think this is a much better route. It allows way more freedom. The GAMES often introduce new protagonists and tell new stories. I see this movie as an extension of that.

One of the biggest problems with Sony biased sites like IGN that warrant the criticism is the fact that Crimson Desert was reviewed almost immediately while they waited almost a MONTH to review Marathon asking people to "experience" it first

This shouldn't be controversial. The Crimson Desert I played was absolutely a 6/10 for all the reasons listed in my review.
The developer has since made a whole bunch of changes to the game, so a re-review is probably warranted.
