@LifeisaGameMag @TKGamingGroup And that was why I never really got into Assassin’s Creed games before Unity, the whole animus, Desmond angle, when I borrowed AC1 and played it on my PS3 back in the day, I was just completely turned off by it and was not interested at all.

normally id agree but the foundation of AC was the animus, desmond, and Altair. Without that then it stops being a series and instead becomes and anthology without any franchise through line. We're likely to agree to disagree here tho since we like different games and different things about those games😂

Going back-and-forth between modern day and the past breaks narrative confluence – they teach you about this in college when you learn how to write professionally. Imagine if Arthur Morgan’s story was being told by an old guy with a cane sitting on a bench waiting for a bus in Toledo. Everyone would be like wtf is this 💩

@SSGSentinel @TKGamingGroup thats fair, i pretty much assume thats why a lot of the newer games get a lot of love since they focus more on story and time setting that characters and over arching narrative

@LifeisaGameMag @TKGamingGroup That’s fair – I actually prefer the games that aren’t good AC games, because I’m less a fan of the franchise as an overall story and more a fan of each individual game’s setting and the action that happens in that setting. And IDGAF about the modern day garbage.

@LifeisaGameMag YES 3 in S. I 100% agree. It was for me. Always my favourite story. Just the plot of Conner and his family dying by his fathers men and them working together was goatd Also I love how he spent YEARS training with the old guy to become a real assassin, made me feel attached

I liked your review and take on it. To reach their own, I really enjoyed this game and got through Tim Drakes playthrough and POV for the story, running another playthrough with Red Hood to see his POV which makes me happy to play and collecting things along the way. 5/5 for me, when this game came out, Kevin Conroy just passed so this have really had a special place for me to see that this was a game without the Bat and made their own name.

@LifeisaGameMag I disagree, Syndicate is S tier. And Shadows is D, I'd say Odyssey is C. That said, Syndicate is my favorite title, and Shadows is my least favorite, most of the rest of the titles are interchangeable. Of course that is just how I see it. You do you fam!

HELL YA!!! The removal of the modern day is a fucking crime against the game and the series and only Ubisoft could screw up a long wanted remake by removing a core of the game. Also the only note for the reviewer is the modern day in Brotherhood is damn near perfection.
