Zoos are by no means above criticism, so why do people act like sanctuaries are? Is it just because the word โsanctuaryโ sounds nicer, and theyโve been taught to associate โzooโ with pseudoscientific words like zoochosis? Most sanctuaries are over full and under funded

I had a nice conversation with the petco guy and I hope he doesnโt think it was because I was trying to trick him. I wish I could have left a note saying โhello I was talking to you because it was nice. I would have been stealing this fish regardless, it is not your fault.โ

@santaclouse oh I know how DIY twitter goes. the scene has a lot of uhhhhh people who are difficult to talk to, so simple conversations blow up into a whole gross thing, and I know itโs mostly younger people.
