People are creative. Once their basic needs are covered, they’ll find new things to do with their time. There is no inherent meaning in the struggle to feed yourself or keep yourself and your family healthy. I genuinely don’t understand why so many people put slavery on a pedestal.

Actually, AI/Robotics will mean everyone can have a penthouse if they want. The output of goods & services will be several orders of magnitude higher than today’s economy. Do you really think that you will get universal income for the 30-40% of jobs that will be replaced by AI? Of course not. You will be killed.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

It’s clear that AI will wind up funding universal income. Let’s make that happen ASAP.
