@Telstra Another all day outage of the @OpticommAU network you forced us onto. Your helpdesk:”Nah sorry mate. Not trained for Opticomm and their service people only work Monday to Friday. Call back Monday.” What kind of sh*tshow are you running between both organisations?

@Telstra So you Telstra forced us onto this provider a month ago. You as the retailer seem to have agreed with Opticomm to provide support. And now you are both washing your hands of your customers. Because who needs internet on the weekend anyway?

@nicoadams Hi, Nico. What you were advised is correct. Opticomm services are handled by a specialist team. They're available during the week between 8am-7pm AEST. -Shannon

@Telstra @MMcInerney89 All of Smithfield, Trinity Park and Trinity Beach have been out all day. Check 4879 also. Opticomm seems to think that 4878 and 4879 are the same thing

@MMcInerney89 Thanks for that, I'm unable to see any Opticom outages in your stage, it does look like there's a 4G unplanned outage however which explains the inconsistence you're having and is estimated to be restored tomorrow morning. - Kris

@ChChCathedralOx I met Jim while serving in the cathedral during my time at the House. It is hard to imagine a kinder man. His wonderful sense of humour always stood out. Condolences to his family and loved ones and the cathedral community.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Michael Ashburner, a pioneering co-founder and former Head of Research at EMBL-EBI. His contributions to bioinformatics have been immeasurable. Our thoughts are with his family, colleagues and all those whose lives were enriched by his work.
