@Sebbywebz @WillofRoses The worst part of FF12 isn’t the game play. The worst is that the final boss transformed into a huge monster out of no where when nothing in the story indicated he would do that.
English

@WillofRoses Yes, FFXII is easy. I beat the Final Boss with both hands behind my head
I can’t say that about any other game

FFX fan complaining that XII is easy, the jokes write themselves

@jorgejhms @zeddotdev That’s not what I want. I want it so that when I click each “changed file” in the changed files list, I only see the diff of that file and no other file.
English

@onlywei @zeddotdev You can open each file and then in the command palette select "expand all diff hunks" and it will show all the changes of that file in a stacked view

@kremkurimu3891 @pisgelafute @luo_yuehan CCTV in China provides irrefutable video evidence that prevents rich people from using their money and influence to get away with minor crimes against the less affluent. Some rich people used to really flaunt their wealth and treat poor people like less than human.
English

@pisgelafute @onlywei @luo_yuehan China is the example. The proliferation of CCTV has not actually lowered the crime rate; instead, the decline is due to a growing middle class, better-trained police, and increased funding for social programmes. Attributing these results to surveillance cameras is a lie.
English

@kremkurimu3891 @luo_yuehan You have to have the cameras observe evidence of the crime and then act upon it quickly to have true deterrence. You can’t just put cameras up and then ignore people who complain about being robbed because the police can’t be bothered to look at tapes.
English

@onlywei @luo_yuehan The evidence in studies I read showed that cameras have no meaningful impact on violent crime, prioritising surveillance over targeted social intervention is a failure of policy. Investing in the root causes is the only proven route to genuine, long-term safety.
English

@kremkurimu3891 @luo_yuehan Sounds like you put CCTV into those lower income areas also and the problem is solved, then.
English

@onlywei @luo_yuehan Sweden, the UK, the US, and Australia have studies about this. The primary "positive" impact of CCTV is often merely the displacement of criminal activity. The result is crime gets pushed into lower-income areas where surveillance is less prevalent. And masks get used more often.
English

@kremkurimu3891 @luo_yuehan Can you explain what you mean by “has been proven time and time again”? How many countries even have enough street cameras to even do this experiment scientifically?
English

@luo_yuehan The thing is cameras aren't an effective deterrent against crime that has been proven time and time again the result is that people are just constantly surveilled for no reason and it costs hundreds of millions.
English

@JJacksonBuilder @luo_yuehan Name someone who got put in a cell because they shared a joke online.
English

@luo_yuehan Her arguments are as good as her youth lies.
When sharing a joke online can land you in a cell, yeah people will worrying about the cameras, the snooping tools installed in your mobiles by the Govt even before you buy them and so on.
China, Dubai, India are good examples. No priv

@kentcdodds I usually run only 1, sometimes 1.5 agents at a time. I don’t understand how people run multiple agents. My first agent usually finishes and needs another prompt by the time I finish promoting the second agent. Then I need to review output…

@ZixuanLi_ I just asked GLM 5 via the website to summarize the new features of NodeJS v24.14.0 (LTS). It told me that it doesn’t exist even though I gave it the full URL: nodejs.org/en/blog/releas…

@kimmonismus “The person declined to say how the US government received the information or how Deepseek obtained the chips”
English

DeepSeek reportedly trained its upcoming model on Nvidia’s top-tier Blackwell chips - despite U.S. export controls banning their shipment to China.
A senior U.S. official said the chips were likely clustered in an Inner Mongolia data center and that DeepSeek may attempt to erase technical traces of their use, raising fresh national security and compliance concerns.
