@ChristinaPushaw What would you expect from a party whose platform requires and drives a majority of impoverished voters to keep them in power? Their structure is antithetical to the quality of life improving for the majority. Because then people would not fall for their “free stuff” grifts.

What I find interesting about the Newsoms is that they both relentlessly promote liberal/left ideologies that are corrosive to family formation and undermine traditional values. However, at the same time, they've been in a heterosexual marriage for 20+ years and have 4 children together. By those measures, they are more "trad" in terms of their own lifestyle than most Americans are, even a lot of conservatives aren't married with 4 kids. So what that tells me is the Newsoms KNOW that the traditional family model is the best; that's why they chose it when they both could've chosen anything else. But as elites they still promote insidious ideologies that end up harming the ordinary people who listen to them. It's a perfect illustration of "luxury beliefs."

Transphobia is not a “different belief.” It’s an ideology designed to justify and advocate for the harm of vulnerable people. It causes the rise in hate crimes and anti-LGBTQ+ legislation. You cannot tolerate “political views” like this, because it’s intolerant to human lives.

@MadamLaconic @nyaraVT I’m not arguing trans women present a unique danger to women. I am arguing that trans women are men, and should be precluded from women’s spaces just like all other men. Women have a moral right to such spaces because they can be impregnated by men (a uniquely female condition).

If this is true it's a very interesting move to call Trump's bluff. Iran is trying to make the cost of his decision so morally high that it becomes a line that if he crosses there's no coming back from. i.e. "Are you prepared to directly kill all the youth?" It's diabolical.

The idea that capitalism = freedom is a myth. Capitalism restricts freedom in countless ways. Under highly capitalist systems, basic needs are commodified. Freedom becomes paywalled. Rich people have freedom, poor people don't.

Earlier today, I said something on Newsmax that was not true. I said that Arkansas is the teen pregnancy capital of the United States. I was wrong. Turns out, it’s Mississippi—Arkansas actually has the second-highest teen pregnancy rate. I sincerely apologize to those hurt by my comments, especially Republican politicians in Southern states who work so hard to create more teen mothers. Keep at it, I guess.
