@JasonGregor Once you gain the blue line. The zone is red line in. Blue line disappears until pick passes back over the red line. Gives the players more room without circling all the way back to their own blue line. Might work might not.

Simple. Put in over-and-back rule. No more curling back across centre. Force teams to attack.

Sure, Oilers among the leagues worst over the years, but when STL signed Broberg to contract, he hadn't earned it either.
