Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Cllr Manjula Sood MBE. A great loss to the city of Leicester. She dedicated herself to public service and to her community with compassion, dignity, and tireless commitment, touching countless lives through her work and kindness. Manjula was my teacher many years ago, a little known fact she would always fondly share with others, reflecting the warmth and lasting connections she built throughout her life. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and all who knew her.

Such sad news to hear Manjula was a trailblazer and selfless in her public service. Always supportive. Heartfelt condolences to all of her family. She lived an amazing life .

It might feel extra hard to reach out for help today because it’s Christmas. But please know you don’t have to face anything alone. Please don’t struggle in silence, if life feels tough, we’ll face it with you. We’re here all day and night 💚
