There has been a lot of interest in the first BIP-110 signaling block produced by @barefootmining earlier today. Some of you might enjoy knowing that it was mined at one of our "wild horse" sites. It's an off-grid site powered directly from a stranded natural gas well. I certainly have nothing against grid-based mining but I find it somewhat poetic that this block was produced in the wild. To me this type of site fully embodies the spirit of Bitcoin. Check out this drone video of the site - ironically it being shot right at the time the block was produced.

Gold closed up $94 today, at $5,278, its highest weekly and monthly close ever. Silver closed up $5.50, at $93.66, its highest monthly close ever. So far in 2026, gold is up 21.5% and silver is up 30%. In sharp contrast Bitcoin is down 27%. This divergence will continue all year.

The market is giving Bitcoin investors plenty of time to sell above $65,000. Given how much lower Bitcoin was ten years ago, that’s still a great price to cash out. The problem is that most Bitcoiners are delusional about Bitcoin hitting new highs. So they will just ride it down.

Trump didn't mention Bitcoin once during his nearly two-hour-long SOTU speech. That wasn't an oversight. Either Trump is trying to distance himself from the coming crypto train wreck, or he wants more “donations” from Bitcoin whales before pumping what they want to dump.

@w_s_bitcoin @eddyluxe_ @Jestopher_BTC As for solo mining You add hashpower → network security gain. More independent nodes/miners → less concentration of influence Collectively increase total network difficulty over time → attacks less likely It is contributing

@eddyluxe_ @Jestopher_BTC If you don't ever mine a block, then your hashrate didn't matter. It'd be no different than if you plugged in the ASIC without directing it at a pool.

This BitAxe hasn't mined a single block. Bitcoin mining really failed to live up to its promises. There's entirely too much math involved anyway. /s

@w_s_bitcoin @eddyluxe_ @Jestopher_BTC Ok, so no one should ever pick up mining and we should just leave it all to the top mining pools? You receive income proportional to what you contribute in a pool = it's a contribution/network participation

Calling Bitcoin a Ponzi is lazy. Ponzi: • Central mastermind • Fake guarantees • Collapse when new money stops Bitcoin: • No central operator • No guaranteed returns • Transparent, auditable supply One is built on deception. The other is built on rules. You don’t have to like Bitcoin. But at least critique it accurately. The real question... Why does a fixed, transparent monetary system scare people so much?

#Bitcoin drops below $65k, exacerbating the $1tn identity crisis. The cryptocurrency's struggle is about purpose, as it is no longer seen as the best hedge, payment rail, or speculation, forcing a question about what it is for. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

@BitsagaRob multiSig is a big step up in operational complexity and responsibility, but also gives a massive security gain in several ways. Passphrases are not complex, and offer a good upgrade on security. Neither are bad, both should be researched beforehand and test-spends regularly

I rarely recommend a passphrase. Either do single sig properly, or jump straight into multi-sig. MultiSig is not as complicated as you think. If you need help with it, send me a message!

This number keeps going up. It shows that a lot of people care deeply about Bitcoin. Calling it an attack is extremely dishonest framing. It's Bitcoin node runners making their voice heard. They're saying "Bitcoin is money".

@waffle_ladders @TrendingBitcoin If 10 years ago: Gold ~$1,200/oz Bitcoin ~$400 And we say soon: Gold hits 10k USD BTC dumps to 30k USD Then Gold return multiple: ~8.3x BTC return multiple: ~75x Gold $1200 -> $10,000 (~700%+) BTC $400 -> $30,000 (~7000%+) But you do you.

If Bitcoin breaks $50K, which looks likely, it seems highly likely it will at least test $20K. That would be an 84% drop from its ATH. I know Bitcoin has done that before, but never with so much hype, leverage, institutional ownership, and market cap at stake. Sell Bitcoin now!

@akafaceUS Dogs on leashes should not go to dog parks. A dog on a leash acts insecure and lashes out. It is a sure way to start a dog fight. It is actually the woman who has her dog on the leash who is creating the problem. Just my opinion.
