Since the beginning of the year I have been publishing every Monday an article called "Market Rotations Report". It tracks flows across sectors / industries / themes and highlights potential candidates for early rotations. I'll be pausing the current iteration for a few weeks, as I work on vastly improving the universe with a lot more single names from USA, Stoxx, FTSE, Nikkei.

these types of properties are gonna look insanely underpriced in a few years when everything is all about drone delivery, EVTOLs, autonomous airport pickup and dropoff, starlink, robotic/AI farm equipment and civil unrest keeps rising in cities

Someone is selling an entire hill in Tuscany. 45 hectares, for €1.3M ($1.5M). That's 111 acres of southern Tuscan countryside with a 500m² stone farmhouse on top, 9 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a pool, and an outdoor wood-burning oven. The estate sits at 400m altitude on a privately owned hill near Saturnia, 8 km from the famous thermal baths and 50 km from the Tyrrhenian Sea. The farmhouse was built in the early 1800s by the Piccolomini Counts as the steward's residence for what was once a much larger estate. The current 45 hectares break down as 37 ha of woodland, 7 ha of arable land, and 1 ha of olive grove with 50 trees. It borders a nature park and the Albenga River. What makes the price interesting is the land. 45 hectares fully consolidated and bordering a protected park is rare at this level in Tuscany. Most farmhouses in this price range come with 1-3 hectares of land. Here you're buying the hill itself. The trade-off is access. You're 160 km from Rome airport and 200 km from Pisa, so this isn't a fly-in-for-the-weekend kind of place. Then again, if you're buying a hill in Tuscany, being hard to reach is probably the point. How much would something like this cost where you live?

@tleilax___ I wonder if he'll push for a solution with Xi. I can imagine China getting very angry at Iran for not ending this yet, so wouldn't be surprised if there is some energy-related announcement (mostly LNG but oil would be pretty significant)

it's reasonable to expect further grind higher on the indexes, even if at a slower pace than what we had so far. however after such a strong run on semis, some broadening makes sense. monitoring the situation into the Trump-Xi meeting to bet on any idio narrative appearing. also bullish on space industry as SpaceX IPO approaches and marketing ramps up. $RKLB $LUNR $ASTS $FLY

The Japanese and Korean stock markets are hitting record highs. It’s almost like an oil crisis doesn’t even exist even though those two are the most exposed to Hormuz. What am I missing here?

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

@AllVentured maybe you’re right not sure tbh! afaik the corridors weren’t that big to begin with like 3km in each direction. but 135 per day still is one every 10 minutes

@relentlessbid Yes a significant portion could resume via the toll booth lanes. But I suspect the area clear of mines is too narrow to accommodate 135 ships per day.

An unpopular war is bad for any admin, but losing one is even worse. There is nothing politically more toxic than a president who has lost a war. Could Trump irresponsibly pull out of the Middle East? Of course but it would inevitably require massive concessions and a total capitulation to Iran. The real problem is that this would look like a definitive defeat—one that even Trump wouldn't be able to spin. The question 'Why are we even fighting this war?' is tough, but the question 'Are you saying we sacrificed all this and went through this chaos only to gain absolutely nothing?' is far more terrifying for any leader. Do not make the mistake of thinking this is only a matter between the US and Iran. What about Israel? And most importantly, what about the GCC countries? How would any US concessions to Iran—made just to get out of this—be perceived by the GCC? Accepting Iranian control over the SoH? Tolerating enriched uranium? Withdrawing US troops? The GCC states are already major players in this arena. You must look at it from their perspective. #oott #iran

What made you want to be a trader? For me, I watched Wall Street 100s of times as a kid and read Liar's Poker. I honestly just wanted to be rich. My dad cleaned floors and money was always a limiting factor.

The same kind of headline would have sent markets down 2% three weeks ago. It just goes to show that everything is sentiment-driven, news doesn’t matter and P/Es don’t matter. It’s just a fact.
