@QHCapital @BetterIRR Hopefully a good amount, but I think just the visibility getting a DoE grant would give them would help propel the stock upwards. They seem like a shoe-in, when you read the description of what some of these grants are for

Wow suprised $LIB.V isn't up more after their Vegas presentation. They've locked in the Li price for the first two years with their offtake partner, why? To allow for debt financing. The market had been worried about how they will fund their ambitious expansion plans.

This company has so much going for it. A disruptor for the whole lithium mining industry. DLE done at scale with an almost limitless feed, all within the US. Who wouldn't want in? I also anticipate good news for future battery development alongside Packet Digital $lib.v $wttr

@LucasCrabapple @Gantosj It's not priced in. Signing an offtake agreement would guarantee a customer for 10/20/30 years at a time. I'm wondering, maybe what they want is to announce 2 or 3 at once. The plan is that each 1t site will have multiple customers for the different purities of carbonate produced

@whirlybard Pretty astounding stuff. Are there any other companies close to these numbers, doing volume and producing the tonnage that Liberty is? I can't find any that are currently doing real-world (battery or otherwise) work with such small lithium concentrations

@DustinFluff @Gantosj In USD, First unit is $37m and subsequent units are expected to be less. Opex is around $4k/t and cost of lithium carbonate let's say $25k/t. In a year you make $21m worth in profit, then minus a 5% royalty fee. $20m. You pay for that first unit completely in less than 2 years

@DustinFluff @Gantosj The tech, according to what's known, is very profitable. Even though the feedstock in the Permian is hosting very low concentrations of lithium (28ppm), there is so much volume that this first site will refine 1k tonne/yr from 120k barrels of the water daily.

Totally agree, $LIB.v $VLTLF is on a trajectory that could realistically land it on the Nasdaq. And a year from now, the valuation being 10× higher isn’t a stretch in my opinion. This isn’t just "scaling up" ... It's about multiplying units across the entire Permian Basin 🚀

Diving deeper into the $LIB.v $VLTLF initiation from @StoneX_Official, & the analyst is way more conservative than where this story is heading. Momentum, execution, and interest are all accelerating. My personal TP? 2028 at $5 is absolutely on the table as milestones land and the market catches up. Their 2028E model implies only about 1,500 tonnes at ~$20k/t #LithiumCarbonate, producing ~$30M revenue and ~$14M EBITDA. But the first unit will be ready by YE-2026, and 2nd unit by mid-2027, so 2027 they will have at least 1500 tonne. Then 2 more units will be built in the rest 2027 & 2028 has the potential of 4000 tpa!

$VLTLF consolidation around the $0.54 support line & the 200MA with 5 straight days of testing & bounce off that zone! Anything below the 50MA (U$0.67) is a gift. Time to add at a discount, picked up $LIB.v on the TSX at C$0.75 (about U$0.54 - U$0.55) They deployed the unit at the Select site in just 1.5 months & already extracted half a tonne of #LCE Solid progress on both the technical and operational fronts.

@knedoycap The wording of this Feb grant is word for word what Liberty does as a business. Iirc NGL Energy has applied here talking about a DLE pilot they're running (likely the secret partner). But nothing is guaranteed. Best to err on the side of caution and assume no grants.
