A recent poll found that 60% – including 3/4 of Democrats and 2/3 of independents – oppose the U.S. sending arms to Israel. That is why today, I am forcing the Senate to vote on two Joint Resolutions of Disapproval - the only formal mechanism Congress has to block an arms sale.

Yesterday, the government passed a law effectively banning repeat protests. The government is fed up with people protesting about genocide. Well, we are disgusted by its complicity in the greatest crime of our time. The government wants to silence us. It will never succeed.

@MartinSLewis My brother in law has called my in laws mr and Mrs for the last 30 years. Makes me laugh.

Was watching an old TV show where the kids didn't call their friend's parents by their first names, but as "Mr Smith" or "Mrs Jones" much as I did in the 80s. Yet it would feel bizarre to me, if my daughter's friends called me Mr Lewis now. When did it change (or has it not for you)?

I’m engaged, and my fiancé recently found out I own a small apartment that my parents helped me buy years ago. It’s in my name, fully paid off. I’ve always seen it as my safety net. Now he’s asking me to sell it after we get married so we can “invest together” and put everything into a house under both our names. He says keeping it means I’m planning for a future without him. But I don’t see it that way. I see it as something I built before him, something that protects me no matter what happens. And now I feel guilty for wanting to keep it.
